November 28, 2023 - Ali Agha Mohammadi and Naser Maghsoudi executed in Ilam on 28 November.
News had previously been published of the execution of Shahram Mohammadbeigi, but the other two men had not been identified. According to information now obtained by IHR, the two other men executed in Ilam Central Prison on 28 November were Ali Agha Mohammadi, 45, and Naser Maghsoudi, 40, both convicted of murder.
A source told IHR: “Ali Agha Mohammadi was arrested for his wife’s murder last year, while Naser Maghsoudi was arrested for murder around five years ago.”
IHR previously reported the execution of Shahram Mohammadbeigi at the prison, bringing the number of executions at Ilam Central Prison to three yesterday.
At the time of writing, none of their executions have been reported by domestic media in Iran.
