July 6, 2024 - IRAN. Ali Ezati (Ezzati) Executed in Zanjan on July 6
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was executed in Zanjan Central Prison on 6 July. His identity has been established as 45-year-old Ali Ezati who was sentenced to death for drug-related charges.
An informed source told IHR: “Ali Ezati was a father of 2 and a farmer prior to his arrest around 3 years ago.”
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
