December 28, 2025 - IRAN. Ali Joveyani executed in Ardabil on December 28
According to information received by Hengaw, Ali Joveyani, a 27-year-old Turkish man from Parsabad in Ardabil province, was executed at Ardabil Central Detention Facility during the early hours of December 28, 2025. He had been arrested four years earlier for a murder related to a street altercation.
The execution has not been announced by state-run media.
