(June 2, 2023) - Ali Mohammad Zeraat and Esmail Nasiri executed in Shiraz on June 2
According to information obtained by IHR, two men were executed in Shiraz Central Prison on 2 June. Their identities have been established as Ali Mohammad Zeraat and Esmail Nasiri, sentenced to death for drug-related charges by the Revolutionary Court.
A source told IHR: “Ali Mohammad Zeraat and Esmail Nasiri were arrested around three years ago. Ali Mohammad had a small child.”
At the time of writing, their executions have not been reported inside Iran.
