October 19, 2025 - IRAN. Alireza Khodkari and Kambiz Mirzayi executed in Rasht on October 19.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, two men were hanged in Rasht Central Prison (Lakan) on 19 October. They have been identified as Alireza Khodkari, from Choobar in Talesh, and Kambiz Mirzayi, from Rasht.
Alireza was arrested four years ago for the murder of his maternal cousin, while Kambiz was arrested three years ago for drug-related offences.
At the time of writing, their executions have not been reported by the Iranian national media.
