Iran hanged in public a man convicted of various charges, including rape, abduction and threatening police forces, in a northern city.The man, identified only as Mostafa P., 26, was executed in Noshahr, some 110 kilometres (nearly 68 miles) north of the capital Tehran, the hardline Javan daily reported.
