IRAN EXECUTES MAN FOR DRUG SMUGGLING IN SOUTHEASTERN PROVINCE

08 July 2008 :

a man was put to death in south eastern Iran after being found guilty of drug smuggling. He was charged with carrying and smuggling 222 kg of opium.
The execution was carried out in Chabahar, Sistan-Baluchestan.
