January 11, 2024 - Falit Abed (Faleet Aabedi) executed in Qazvin on January 11.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a Kurdish man was executed in Qazvin Central Prison (Choobindar Prison) on 11 January. His identity has been established as 55-year-old Falit Abedi from Barasepi village in Urmia.
He was arrested around three years ago and sentenced to death for drug-related charges. At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
