Five people were hanged in the prison of Kerman, south-eastern part of Iran, reported the state run Iranian news agency Fars.The Five were convicted of drug smugling and were identified as: "Saeed D.", "Sattar N.", "Mahmood M.", "Majid P." and "Sarvar V.".
The report didn’t mention whether the executions took place May 6 or May 7.
