November 12, 2025 - IRAN. Group Hanging of at Least 5 Men in Ghezel-Hesar on November 12

Ali Heidari, Soroush Haghpanah, Ali Kazemian, a man only identified as Mr Ahmadi and an unidentified man were executed in Ghezel-Hesar Prison. Other sources, and HoC, already reported the group hanging, but could not identify the men.

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, at least five men were hanged in Ghezel-Hesar Prison on 12 November 2025. They were all sentenced for murder. Four of the men have been identified as Ali Heidari, Soroush Haghshenas, Ali Kazemian and a man only identified as Mr Ahmadi.

The fifth man’s execution was reported by Etemad Online. According to the report, the unnamed was accused of stabbing his wife to death on the metro around 17 months ago.

At the time of writing, the other four men’s executions have not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
