December 13, 2025 - IRAN. Hamideh Jabbari and Manouchehr Ramazani executed in Qom on December 13

Iran has executed two prisoners, including a female inmate, at Qom Central Prison. The individuals were identified as Hamideh Jabbari, 41, from Saveh, and Manouchehr Ramazani, 26, from Shahriar in Tehran Province.

According to information obtained by Hengaw, the executions were carried out at dawn on December 13, 2025. Both had been sentenced to death in separate cases on charges of murder.

Sources familiar with the cases said Jabbari had been arrested approximately four years ago on charges of killing her husband. Ramazani had been detained for a similar period in connection with a fatal street altercation that resulted in a murder conviction.

According to data recorded by the Women’s Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (Wncri), with the execution of Hamideh Jabbari the number of women executed in Iran since the beginning of the 2025 calendar year has risen to 60. According to the same source, at least 323 women have been executed in Iran since 2007.

The executions have not been announced by Iranian state media.
