October 8, 2025 - IRAN. Heshmat Foroughi and Sajad Amiri executed in Shiraz on October 8
According to information received by Hengaw, at dawn on October 8, 2025, two men, Heshmat Foroughi, 33, from Yasuj, and Sajad Amiri, 37, from the Darreh Shuri branch of the Qashqai tribe, were executed in Adelabad Prison in Shiraz.
Amiri had been arrested about a year earlier on charges of killing a police colonel, while Foroughi had been detained four years ago on accusations of murder during a street altercation.
The executions of these prisoners have not been announced by Iranian state media.
