October 11, 2025 - IRAN. Homayoun Safari executed in Ilam on October 11
According to information received by Hengaw, at dawn on October 11, 2025, the execution of Homayoun Safari, a Kurdish prisoner from Ilam, was carried out in Ilam Central Prison. According to informed sources, Safari had been convicted of murder.
The execution has not been announced by state media.
