December 14, 2025 - IRAN. Khalegh Zolfaghari executed in Yazd on December 14
On December 14, 2025, Khalegh Zolfaghari, 30, from Yazd, was executed at dawn in Yazd Central Prison. He had been arrested three years earlier following a street altercation that led to a murder conviction.
The execution was not announced by Iranian state media.
