an Iranian man convicted on two counts of raping minors has been hanged in the northern city of Shahrud. The man, identified as 31-year-old Davood Sh., had been found guilty of raping two girls aged nine and 11.
A former lorry driver who murdered an 85-year-old woman after raping and sodomising her in 2019 has his death sentence commuted to 40 years in prison by the Federal Court on January 13, 2025.
