October 22, 2025 - IRAN. Marouf Fattahi executed in Tabriz on October 22.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Tabriz Central Prison on 22 October. His identity has been established as Marouf Fattahi, a 30-year-old Turkish man from Tabriz.
He was arrested for allegedly killing aman during a street fight around five years ago.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
