(August 1, 2023) - Massoud Eshaghzehi (Masoud Ishaq Zahi, Ishaqzahi) executed in Zabol on August 1.
According to Hal Vash, a Baluch and Afghan national was executed in Zabol Prison on 1 August. His identity has been reported as 30-year-old Massoud Eshaghzehi, a father of two.
Massoud was arrested for drug-related charges around two years ago. He was transferred to solitary confinement in preparation for his execution the night prior.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
