Massoud Ghaed-Rahmati (Masoud Quaid Rahmati, Haravi) executed in Khorramabad on September 3.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was executed in Khorramabad Central Prison on September 3. His identity has been established as Massoud Ghaed-Rahmati, from Dorud Lorestan.
Informed sources told Iran Human Rights that Massoud was arrested for possession of six kilograms of heroin around four years ago and was sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court. A different source said “Masoud was innocent, he was driving a car in which a small amount of heroin discovered, while Masoud did not know about it, and he was only the driver of that car.”
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
