November 22, 2023 - Mohammad Andishkouh (Andishgu) and Moslem Jamshidi executed in Karaj on November 22
Mohammad Andishkouh (Andishgu) and Moslem Jamshidi were executed today on drug-related charges in Ghezel Hesar prison in Karaj, Alborz Province.
The two prisoners were transferred to solitary confinement for execution on 21 November.
Andishkouh, 29, from Kuhdasht, Lorestan Province, was arrested about eight years ago. Jamshidi was a 55-year-old father of one from Harsin, Kermanshah Province. No official sources or media outlet within the country have provided coverage of these executions at the time of writing.
