April 22, 2026 - IRAN. Mohammad Heydari and Abed Sharafi executed in Kermanshah on April 15

According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, 2 Kurdish prisoners, Mohammad Heydari, 31, and Abed Sharafi, 28, were executed at dawn on April 15, 2026, in Kermanshah Central Prison, also known as Dizelabad Prison.

Heydari had been arrested four years ago, Sharafi three, both for murder cases.

None of the executions had been publicly announced by Iranian state media.
