January 16, 2024 - Mohsen Mehri executed in Ilam on January 16.
According to information obtained by IHR, a Kurdish man was executed in Ilam Central Prison on 16 January. His identity has been established as Mohsen Mehri. He was arrested for the murder of his brother five years ago.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media inside Iran.
