October 12, 2025 - IRAN. Mojtaba Hasanpour executed in Rasht on October 12

The death sentence of Mojtaba Hasanpour was carried out in Lakan Prison in Rasht, northern Iran.

According to information received by Hengaw, the execution took place at dawn on October 12, 2025.

Hasanpour, 42, a Gilak resident of Rasht and father of one, had been arrested nearly four years ago on drug-related charges.

The execution has not been announced by Iranian state media.
