(May 2, 2023) - Mousa and Ehsan Gorgij executed in Bandarabbas on May 2
In the last four days, 12 Baluch people have been executed in five prisons.
According to Hal Vash, two Baluch men were executed in Bandarabbas Central Prison on 2 May. Their identities have been reported as 55-year-old Mousa Gorgij (Musa Gargij) and 30-year-old Ehsan Gorgij (Gargij), both from the Barahouyi tribe in Zahedan, and sentenced to death for drug-related charges.
A source quoted in the report, said: “Mousa and Ehsan were arrested in Bandarabbas around 3 years ago and sentenced to death by the Bandarabbas Revolutionary Court in the spring of 2022.”
At the time of writing, their executions have not been reported inside Iran.
In the last four days, at least 12 Baluch men and women have been executed in Zahedan, Birjand, Mashhad, Bandarabbas and Iranshahr prisons.
