According to a report received by Hengaw, at dawn on Thursday, May 18, 2023, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner named Mustafa Salehi from the Dezli Rural District in the Central District of Sarvabad County was executed in the central prison of Sanandaj.
Mustafa Salehi was arrested three years ago on the charge of murdering his brother-in-law.
On Saturday, May 23, Mustafa Salehi and another prisoner named Jamshid Karimi from Dehgolan were transferred to solitary cells to execute their death sentences. Hengaw has been informed that Jamshid Karimi's sentence has been canceled after obtaining the forgiveness of his victim's parents in exchange for 4 billion tomans.
