June 6, 2026 - IRAN. Nourmorad Falahnejad executed in Khorramabad on June 6.

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Khorramabad (Parsilon) Central Prison on 6 June 2026. His identity has been established as Nourmorad Falahnejad, a 48-year-old father of three from Khorramabad.

Per informed IHR sources, he was arrested around four years and eight months ago on charges of murder using a hunting weapon during a dispute and altercation over agricultural land.

At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
