May 25, 2026 - IRAN. Saman Ebrahimi and Ali Shahbazi executed in Kermanshah on May 25

Iranian authorities have executed two Kurdish prisoners from Kermanshah (Kermashan), identified as Saman Ebrahimi (Nazi Sarvnovi) and Ali Shahbazi, in Kermanshah Central Prison, also known as Dizel Abad Prison. Both men had previously been sentenced to death in separate cases on charges of murder.

According to information received by Hengaw, the executions were carried out at dawn on May 25, 2026. Ebrahimi was 32 years old and Shahbazi was 27.

Hengaw has learned that both men were natives of Kermanshah.

State-affiliated media have not officially announced the executions.
