The state-run IRNA news agency on 13 March 2019 reported that three men charged with killing two armed agents of the regime, were executed in Birjand Prison, in South Khorasan province. There is no mention of the exact date of execution. The state-run media did not elaborate the victims by name. Two of those executed were father and son.
