IRAN. TWO MEN HANGED PUBLICLY FOR RAPE AND ARMED ROBBERY

22 June 2005 :

two Iranians were hanged in public in Bandar-Abbas in southern Iran after they were found guilty of rape and armed robbery.
Said Oj Hormozi and Jalil Moridi had each been sentenced to 74 lashings, 35 and 15 years in prison respectively, and to death by hanging.
