December 5, 2025 - IRAN. Unidentified man executed in Bushehr on December 5

On December 5 state media have reported the execution of an unnamed man for murder. IHR has established the location as Bushehr Prison.

According to Banak News, a local media outlet in Iran, a man was executed after being sentenced for murder. The unnamed man’s place of execution was not specified.

An informed source told IHR: “He was executed in Bushehr Prison. He was accused of killing an individual who was trying to mediate in the middle of a group fight in March 2024.”

HoC notes that Hengaw and Hrana reported an execution in Bushehr on 3 December. On that day, Majid Namjoo (also Majid Namjou), convicted of murder, was hanged. It is currently unclear whether this may be the same case.
