September 18, 2024 - IRAN. Yasin Darvishi executed in Gorgan on September 18
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights on September 28, a man was executed in Gorgan (Amir Abad) Central Prison on 18 September. His identity has been established as 21-year-old Yasin Darvishi who was arrested for murder when he was 19 years old.
Videos obtained by Iran Human Rights show a gathering of his relatives outside the prison the night prior to his execution.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
