53 parliamentarians have so far given their support to Hands Off Cain’s appeal aimed at California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to halt the scheduled execution Stanley Williams. Amongst the support given is that of Pietro Folena, an independent deputy of the Communist Refoundation group (Prc) who is collecting the signatures, Vice-Presidents of the chamber of deputies Biondi, Fiori and Mussi and deputies Enzo Carra, Filippo Mancuso, Antonio Meccanico, Giuseppe Giulietti, Ugo Intini, Armando Cossutta, Russo Spena, Alfoso Gianni, Luciano Violante, Stefano Boco, Melchiorre Cirami, Chiara Moroni, Donato Bruno.
