Hands Off Cain was awarded the peace prize “Love and Psyche 2005” by the 11th MEDFILM festival, a competitive international film festival dedicated to human rights.The MEDFILM festival decided to award the prize to Hands Off Cain in virtue of the activities undertaken by the Association in defending human rights and spreading the message of death penalty abolition, values shared by and at the heart of the MEDFILM festival itself.
MEDFILM, a festival of European and Mediterranean culture, presented 200 films this year from 40 different countries.
