Jordanian authorities executed Adnan Ismail, a man convicted for murdering his wife and seven-month-old son, marking Jordan's third execution in four days.Ismail, 41, had been convicted by a criminal court for strangling to death his 35-year-old wife and seven-month-old son following a spousal dispute two years previously, police spokesman Major Bashir al-Daajeh said. After murdering them, Ismail dug a hole in his garden and buried the pair, Daajeh said in a statement carried by state-run Petra news agency. The execution by hanging was carried out at dawn at the Swaka prison south of Amman, Daajeh added.
