Abdul Rehman, a man convicted of murder, was hanged in Kot Lakhpatt jail, Pakistan, at 4:30 am.The body was handed over to his family members, present outside the jail, after the prison doctor confirmed his death. Rehman had been convicted of killing petrol pump manager Arshad Butt during a robbery and was sentenced to death on February 24, 1999.
