Saudi Arabian authorities beheaded a Pakistani man convicted of drug smuggling, the interior ministry said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency. Mohammed Naseer Siddiq was found guilty of smuggling heroin into the country and was executed in the Red Sea port city of Jiddah.
Taliban have increased the use of corporal punishment at the start of the new year (2026), flogging at least 37 people in public across 10 provinces in less than a week, according to data from statements issued by their Supreme Court.
