Saudi Arabia executed a convicted murderer. Salem bin Jumaian bin Khalif al-Shummari stabbed and killed Fares bin Mufdhi bin Ammash al-Shummari during a fight, an Interior Ministry statement carried by the state news agency said.
The Shubra El Kheima Criminal Court has sentenced the defendant in the killing of Mirna Gamal Abdel Tawab—widely known in the media as the “Khosous Girl” - to death by hanging, The Gulf reported on April 26, 2026.
