SOMALIA: TWO FEDERAL GOVT SOLDIERS EXECUTED FOR CIVILIANS MURDER

Federal Government of Somalia’s military court executed two Somali National Army (SNA) soldiers for the murder of civilians, Garowe Online reported.
Abdirahman Isse Ahmed, 20 and Abdullahi Ali Abdi, who were convicted of killing three civilians in separate incidents, were executed by firing squad at police academy in Mogadishu, with military court Chief Liban Ali Yarow present.
Ahmed deliberately shot dead late Saed Dhiblawe Siyad in August 2012, while Abdi gunned down Mohamud Hussein Abdi and Sahro Sheikh Omar.
It is the first execution of government soldiers to be carried out this year.
