two Bangladeshi workers in the United Arab Emirates were saved from the death sentence handed down by the Dubai court, according to the clemency paper signed by the victim’s family.The two accused – Kamal Hossain and Sajdu Miah – had killed Nur Mohammad, 27, in February 2010 in Dubai. Later, a Dubai court sentenced them to death. After the verdict given to them, the Bangladeshi government took initiative to convince the family members of the deceased to forgive the two Bangladeshi workers. The accused family gave 1,200,000 Bangladeshi Taka (about 15,500 USD) to Nur’s family as compensation.
