20 October 2009 :
the Khorfakan Criminal Court in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, sentenced a UAE woman, 47, and her Iranian accomplice, 23, to death.After a tipoff, she was arrested at the border post of Dibba-Fujairah in August 2009 with 22kgs of drugs under the driver’s seat of her car.
She allegedly confessed, which led to the later arrest of the Iranian.
