December 19, 2025 - Pennsylvania. Kevin Marinelli, 53, White, resentenced to life in prison without parole

Judge John Capuzzi resentenced Kevin Marinelli on Friday by video.

Marinelli was sentenced to death in 1995 for killing Conrad Dumchock during a 1994 robbery. Attorneys say Marinelli agreed to drop all remaining challenges in exchange for avoiding a death sentence. Family members called the decades-long court fight painful. They told the court they are willing to accept life without parole.
