Wang Tianlun was given a death sentence suspended for two years and was fined 100 milion yuan (10 milion euro) by the Fifth Intermediate People's Court of Chongqing. The founder of a social help group in 1996, Wang allagedly manipulated the local pig market using violence and other means. Furthermore, he allegedly bribed local officers of public security. Another man, Tang Youbin, was sentenced to death with a suspension of two years on similar charges.
