April 22, 2026 - IRAN. Jafar Fakhrabadi executed in Yazd on April 22
Information received by Hengaw indicates that the execution of Fakhrabadi, a 52-year-old resident of Yazd, was carried out at dawn on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, inside Yazd Central Prison.
Fakhrabadi, the father of three children, had been arrested four years ago over the killing of his cousin. The motive for the fatal dispute was reported to be financial disagreements between the two men, who both worked in the ceramics trade.
His execution has not been announced by state media.
