October 21, 2025 - IRAN. Jalil Ashouri executed in Mashhad on October 21
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Mashhad (Vakil Abad) Central Prison on 21 October 2025. His identity has been established as Jalil Ashouri, who was sentenced to death on drug-related charges.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media.
