May 4, 2026 - IRAN. Masoud Shirzad executed in Isfahan on May 4
Iranian authorities have executed a man from Kashan, identified as Masoud Shirzad, at Isfahan Central Prison (Dastgerd). According to information received by Hengaw, the execution was carried out at dawn on May 4, 2026. Masoud Shirzad was 30 years old and from Kashan.
Sources familiar with the case told Hengaw that Shirzad had been arrested nearly three years ago in connection with drug-related charges.
The execution has not been officially announced by Iranian state media.
