May 6, 2026 - IRAN. Mohammad Taqi Shahveisi and Siros Ramazani executed in Kermanshah on May 6

According to information received by Hengaw, two Kurdish prisoners, Mohammad Taqi Shahveisi and Siros Ramazani, were executed at Dizel Abad Prison in Kermanshah (Kermashan). The two men had been sentenced to death in separate cases on charges of murder.

According to information received by Hengaw, the executions were carried out at dawn on May 6, 2026. Mohammad Taqi Shahveisi, a father of four from Salas-e Babajani, and Siros Ramazani, 31, from Kermanshah, were both executed after spending years on death row.

Iranian state media have not officially announced the executions.
