June 13, 2026 - IRAN. 8 men executed in Ghezel-Hesar on June 13

Amirabbas Dakami (Amir-Abbas Dekavand), Seyed Akbar Banihashem (Seyyed Akbar Bani-Hashem), Mehdi Moradian + 5

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, at least eight men were hanged in Ghezel-Hesar Prison on 13 June 2026. Other sources, and HoC, already reported the execution of 6 unidentified men the same day in the same prison. Now IHR writes that the executions were 8, and that the men were all sentenced for murder. Three of them have been identified as Amirabbas Dakami (photo) from Gharchak, Seyed Akbar Banihashem (photo) and Mehdi Moradian. The identities of the other five men have not been established at the time of writing.

A source told IHR: “Amirabbas was arrested for murder six years ago after a group fight. Akbar was also arrested for murder that took place in a group fight in Gharchak seven years ago.
