11 January 2023 :

An Egyptian Islamic teacher who raped children in Khaitan was sentenced to death by hanging in Kuwait, this was first of the 50 cases he is accused off, Arab Times reported on 9 January 2023.
Media reports said the case came to light when Farwaniya police, south of Kuwait, received a complaint from a Pakistani man that his 8-year-old son was sexually assaulted while on his way to a grocery store in the city.
Upon being arrested the teacher admitted that he sexually assaulted more than 50 children over the course of three months and that he used to threaten to kill his victims if they told their parents.

07 December 2023 :

The Criminal Court on December 4, 2023 sentenced a Kuwaiti citizen and an Egyptian expatriate, who were charged with Mubarak Al-Rashidi's murder, to death by hanging.
After it was proven that the suspects had committed premeditated murder, the Public Prosecution asked the Criminal Court to impose the death penalty on them.
According to the report, the first defendant committed his crime with premeditation by preparing his equipment, searching for the victim, and killing him after capturing him.
The Ministry of Interior announced the discovery of Mubarak Al- Rashidi's body inside a container in Salmi five weeks after he disappeared in Subbiya desert.
On May 26, the forensic evidence report revealed that the body belonged to the missing citizen Mubarak Al-Rashidi, and that he had been killed.
Throughout the investigation and ongoing efforts of the Ministry of Interior since the disappearance of Mubarak Al-Rashidi, details and circumstances of the crime have been revealed.
In coordination with the Egyptian security authorities, the investigation extended from Kuwait to Egypt in order to find the Egyptian suspect who saw the crime in Kabd and assisted in transporting Al-Rashidi's body to Salmi.

06 December 2023 :

The Court of Cassation in Kuwait City has issued a verdict to execute an Ethiopian woman who fatally stabbed her Indian colleague on the first day of Ramadan in 2021 in the Abdullah Al-Mubarak area, Arab Times reported on December 5, 2023.
The violent incident occurred following a dispute between them over the allocation of kitchen duties.
A concerned citizen had alerted the Ministry of Interior about a murder within his residence situated in the Abdullah Al-Mubarak area.
Subsequently, law enforcement personnel, investigative teams, and forensic experts promptly responded to the location.
The accused was apprehended, and a weapon used in the crime was confiscated.

13 November 2023 :

The Court of Cassation in Kuwait has upheld the verdict issued by the Criminal Court and the Court of Appeals, sentencing a soldier from the Ministry of Interior to death, Gulf News reported on November 10, 2023.
The soldier was found guilty of murdering a young Bedouin man in Al Julai’a desert.
Additionally, the court has directed that the civil case be transferred to the appropriate legal body.
The lawyer representing the victim’s heirs, Abdul Mohsen Al Qattan, responded to the verdict by emphasising its deterrent effect and urging for the swift implementation of the sentence.
The case, which was the first murder case recorded in 2022, involved a Ministry of Interior soldier. The perpetrator initially confessed to the crime during interrogation, revealing that the murder occurred in the heat of an argument stemming from disagreements with the victim.
It was noted that the victim had been released from central prison a few weeks prior to the incident, after serving 15 years of a sentence, and had been pardoned after 10 years.
On the night of the murder, the operations room of the Ministry of Interior received a late-night report about a body found at Al Julaiah camp. Upon arrival, security forces discovered the corpse, which bore evident signs of strangulation.
The suspect, identified as a deputy officer in the Ministry of Interior, was subsequently arrested. During his interrogation, he confessed to the killing, citing personal disputes as the motive behind his actions.

27 July 2023 :

Kuwait put to death five people on July 27, 2023 including a man convicted of involvement in a 2015 ISIS group suicide bombing that killed 26 people, the Public Prosecution said.
In a statement, the Public Prosecution said it oversaw the “implementation of the death sentence in Kuwait’s Central Prison” against five people, most of them accused of murder.
They include Abdulrahman Sabah Saud - the main convict in the 2015 bombing that struck a Shia mosque in the capital during Friday prayers. It was the bloodiest attack in Kuwait’s history.
The other men executed on July 27 included a Kuwaiti, an Egyptian and a member of Kuwait’s stateless Bidoon minority, all of whom had been convicted of murder.
A Sri Lankan was put to death on drug charges.
The Public Prosecution said all five were executed by hanging.
