A man was hanged in public on October 2 in the city of Rasht. According to IRIB News, on the morning of Wednesday, October 2, a man was executed at a Park in the Iranian northern city of Rasht. He was sentenced to qisas (retribution in-kind) for killing a policeman a year ago. In the published photos, at least one child is seen watching the scene. According to Iranian websites, some people were chanting “forgive! Forgive!”. However, the plaintiffs chose to execute the prisoners.
