Abbasgholi Salehi, Hamid Shahsanayi and Mohammad Barahouyi executed in Isfahan Central Prison (Dastgerd) on September 29. At least 81 prisoners, including a woman, have been executed on drug-related charges in Iranian prisons in 2021. According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, three men were executed on drug-related charges in Isfahan Central Prison (Dastgerd) on September 29. Their identities have been established as Abbasgholi Salehi, Hamid Shahsanayi and Mohammad Barahouyi. Informed sources told IHR: "Mohammad Barahouyi was an Afghan national and was behind bars for nine years on charges of 180 kilograms of narcotics.” “Abbasgholi Salehi was from Isfahan and 43 years old. He had been in prison on drug charges for 20 years,” the source added.
