At least four people were hanged in Zahedan city on February 4 and 5, 2020. IHR reported this news on February 26, 2020. According to a news piece published by HRANA (but not on the English site) and confirmed by IHR sources, at least four prisoners were hanged on Tuesday, February 4, and Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at Zahedan prison. They were reportedly sentenced to death for murder charges. One of the executed prisoners is identified as Akbar Lakzehi.
